Make It Stop!
Why does Acura have a market research company make repeated and annoying calls to new owners to ask about their satisfaction with their purchase? They don't leave a message and they don't honor requests to NOT call at work.
Man, you have touched a nerve with me. I think Acura and Honda believe in killing their customers with surveys.
Before buying my RDX last year, I'd visited 3 dealers, one of them multiple times (at their invitation); and each time I'd get one or two survey calls about my "satisfaction" with the experience. One of them wanted to know if the Sales Manager had greeted me personally, on a specific date. I'd been there 3 times in two weeks, and it was 2 weeks later that they did the survey. I said yes, he had shaken hands on one of my visits, but not all; her response was a gruff "yes, but did he greet you specifically at your visit of Wednesday, 3 April?" I just hung up.
I remember unloading on the poor survey taker that called me after the purchase to ask about my new Acura; I was only mildly annoyed, and was going along with it, until he challenged me about one of the ratings I gave. I'd asked the salesman to add mud flaps, and of course they put it in the service bay to install them. I guess that counted as a "service call" which the survey taker wanted to know about. He asked how I ranked my satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 10 relative to the service I'd received that day; until he asked, I didn't even know about it. I gave it a 10. But then he said "well, thank you for that, we're glad you were so satisfied, but please tell me WHY you've given them a 10?"
Then I exploded, and said I would never buy another Acura just because of their persistent and annoying surveys. I was already hyper-annoyed by all the surveys from before the purchase; I guess I took out all my frustration on that guy.
I really hate that I lost my temper and yelled. I wish I'd stayed cool and said something intelligent, like "well, I've ranked them a 10 because it's been a whole week, and so far not one of the mud flaps has fallen off."
Also I'm tired of all the Acura salesmen (and Honda, too) telling me ahead of time that if I rank them less than a 10 on any factor "it is "unacceptable" at Division level and I could lose my job." That's a pretty good indication that it's all a stupid, meaningless game.

Hmmm...we haven't been contacted once...yet...even tho the sales people said we would be (and gave us the "if you can't rank us..." spiel). OTOH, it might be because I have a call blocker that blocks everyone who isn't in my contacts. And they aren't.

... I would have give them a rating that would lead to the firing of all engineers in Acura NAV R&D department for messing up the NAV.
