HID's

Got to travel for 2 hrs on 2 lane highways last weekend. This was the first time I had 4 passengers in my RDX.Don't know if having the extra weight in the rear seat caused the rear to sag a little which would have caused the front to raise.Over ten vehicles flashed there high beams, some held their high beams on in anger.I have noticed there is very little difference between low and high beam.I'm hoping there is a way to adjust or point the headlights lower.I plan on asking my dealer.

I live in NM and travel a lot on two lane hwy. There are not a lot of luxury brands with HIDs once you leave a major city. I sometimes get flashed +20 times on a 3hr drive to my in-laws on rural roads in my TSX and RDX. My headlights are adjusted correctly by the Acura techs. I've never got flashed around major town like Albuquerque, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake, San Diego, etc.. I now just travel during the day on rural roads instead of pissing off the other drivers.

yes, weight can affect the path of light.
and yes, it is adjustable.

but I wouldnt adjust it to compensate for passengers.

Yes, some HID equipped vehicles, esp SUV's that sit higher can look like they have their high beams on to people in cars. I get flashed from time to time.. until I give them the RDX High beams right back .. LOL!
