2013 RDX: Timing belt or chain?

Hello everyone
Anyone knows if RDX 2013 uses a timing belt or chain? I really need to confirm this!

The first gen 2007-2012 has a chain. The FSM even cautions against exposing the chain to a magnetic field (pretty conclusive its metal).

I would be very surprised if the 2013 has a belt - but the only way to really confirm is to look in the FSM (factory service manual) or ask the dealer shop.

Why do you want to know this? I am curious.

They changed engines (to the 3.5L V6, which uses a belt) for the 2013 MDX. The Maintenance chapter of the 2013 RDX Owner's Manual, page 273, refers to replacing the "timing belt."

Honda's timing belts have to be replaced every 90K to 105K miles, so that might be why it's a consideration for some folks--it's around an $800 job in my area.

And timing chains fail as well.. sometimes not going 100k miles either. I had this happen on a chain equipped car...
