2013 RDX: Timing belt or chain?
I would be very surprised if the 2013 has a belt - but the only way to really confirm is to look in the FSM (factory service manual) or ask the dealer shop.
Why do you want to know this? I am curious.
Honda's timing belts have to be replaced every 90K to 105K miles, so that might be why it's a consideration for some folks--it's around an $800 job in my area.

They changed engines (to the 3.5L V6, which uses a belt) for the 2013 MDX. The Maintenance chapter of the 2013 RDX Owner's Manual, page 273, refers to replacing the "timing belt."
