FOB low battery warning

It's been more a year that I get FOB low battery warning message when I start the car. It's strange because even though I put brand new battery in both of my FOBs I still get the message. Does anyone knows what the cause might be or what should I be look into?

Possibly dirty or oxidized contacts on the battery holder?

That's what I thought too initially. Had cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and then once again with metal brush but no result. It is strange.

I assume you tried a different brand of battery?

Yes extactly and have done this twice once with Duracell and once with Energizer batteries. And made sure that the battery is the right type.

Do both FOBs exhibit the same issue? If so, it’s probably a problem on the vehicle. Are both fobs working ok other than seeming to show low battery?

Yes both FOBs work fine. Iam also thinking there's something wrong somewhere but can't figure out. I mean not sure where to start testing it.

When I had issues with my fob battery, I took it apart and made sure everything was snapped together properly. I had a misaligned piece that was easy to overlook. And that solved my issues.

Yes, I did put new batteries in it.
