Fit and finish
Fit and finish
I noticed two more things that I want to run by my colleagues here - I know I need to find a hobby --
1. There is a 5 mm gap between the top curve of the IP console and the molding above it..odd
2. THere is a slit/crack on the rubber molding / lining inside the front bumper (on right side as you are looking at the front grill) that you can see from sitting down and looking at it from lic plate level..not so on the left side
you guys see it..

I have a finish issue on the rear bumper where it meets the tail light from the driver side...the paint wasnt applied smoothly, and some black plastic shows through. Not a deal killer, but the dealer gave me free touch up paint when i complained. Other than that, so far the fit and finish is tight.
Thanks for posting your observations.
I am in the market for a new vehicle....long time Honda owner. Trying to decide between a 2013 RDX AWD base vs 2012 MDX Base. RDX seems to look small; MDX Exterior is great looking. But, RDX has all the new technology; MDX seems a few years old ( a bit old). Thoughts?

If you are able to wait, I heard the MDX is going for a remodel next year. Not sure what will change, but I'd expect any deficiencies in technology will be caught up... and then some (especially since the MDX is a big seller, I'm sure Acura will try to keep up on the technology front).
PS - the MDX mileage is pretty subpar. Drove it for a week while my RSX was in the shop. Loved it, lots of fun, but when I filled up the tank I think I got about 15 mpg? And I drove mostly highway to and from work. With gas prices as they are, thats not ideal.
