On my 2018 Acura RDX the "check blind spot system is lite on my dash. Anyone have this issue?

 

How old is your battery?

 

Don't know bought the car used last year, I can check if it is dated and I can test it with my battery tester. Strange thing the light on the dash wasn't lite yesterday.

Like the previous individual suggested, I would check the battery, evn if you find it to be relatively new. And especially do so if you do a lot of short trip driving. I have found the electronic on these car to be a bit flaky if the battery condition is marginal. I'd also suggest you find a shop that can do a load test on the battery, not the test with these hand held devices which don't actually load the battery. I have a Honda Accord that was giving me some strange behavior. The dealer wanted to replace the starter at $1200. I took it to an independent and when placed on a load test the battery failed miserably. It was replaced several years ago and has never acted up again.

20 MDX has been in dealer for a week for an Acuracare-covered BSM issue. Was awaiting an Acura inspector to come and authorize replacement of the sensor and a week later it didn't work. Now they are asking Acura to authorize replacement of the BSM control module which is $1100.

Was occasionally giving me an error at startup once every 3 months or so. Finally permanently died.

Am in a loaner so no concerns waiting.
