2016 RDX Audio stuck on mute/frozen

Hey guys, so the first day I had my new 2016 RDX, I was driving around trying some stuff out. After calling a friend, I hung up, and then everything seemed to freeze. I couldn't make the audio work, on any mode. I couldn't place calls through the vehicle, and etc.. I turned off and restarted the car, still to no avail. I pulled over and called the dealership, they advised to bring it back so I hung up and set on my way. Randomly maybe 2 mins after making the call, the audio turned back on and everything continued to work as normal. This hasn't happened again in the 2 weeks ish that I've had it, but the service dept had mentioned I was their 2nd complaint and that there may be an update coming.. Wondering if any other 16 RDX owners have experienced anything similar?

Nothing here and I'm almost at 1400 miles.

This has infrequently happened to me in my 2013 RDX. I found that shutting down my phone (then turning it back on) somehow clears out the problem.

Probably a problem with the bluetooth implementation between the phone and the car. People generally blame the car, but it is often the phone that is the problem. On my old BlackBerry it worked flawlessly in handsfree mode, but it didn't always link automatically when I got in the car. On my iPhone it doesn't always connect to the speakers in the car but I can still dial through the car. Annoying. You'd think these have been standards for so many years that there would be much higher compatibility. You may want to research your phone and see if others have the same problem. Maybe there is a fix.

Have had my 2016 RDX a few weeks, one day the radio stuck, and would not change stations, nor could I change the mode to Bluetooth, Sirius or anything else. I was close to my destination so I left it alone. On the next drive, all was ok.
