2014 RDX replacing center armrest console lock/latch

My center console (armrest) latch/lock broke. I ordered a replacement part. It looks like I just need to snap the piece into place, but where do I put the spring?? Seems like such a simple task, but 🤔

Mine broke to, 2015 RDX and the dealer replaced it under waranty
