Greetings all,

Just got my new 2010 RDX SH-AWD w Tech. Love the car so far. One problem I have noticed is that the center console latch does not work very well. The cover can be lifted without using the latch with the slightest of fingertip pressure (even when locked!!). Also does not always "catch" when closing (pops open). Anyone else having this problem? Do I have a faulty latch/spiring/cover or is this just a poor design issue? Definitely paying the dealer a visit but wanted to get some info (ammo?) beforehand. Any feedback welcomed. Annoying that they would cheap-out on such a minor part for such a high-end car. Thanks in advance

 

dealer should be able to fix it in seconds. Don't mess with it.
