Recently my car has a red battery lights on with P065 notification occurring randomly at several times. When I clicked “Check Now” on the screen, it gave me something like “Your car is not charging”, but then the red battery light went off afterwards. Had my car checked to a local auto shop and the voltage readings are good. Does anyone know what’s happening or if the alternator is definitely a problem?

could be an alternator or a belt/ belt tensioner issue if it's sporadic like that.

If you have a leaking spool valve gasket, a new alternator will last for a month.
