Modified CAI?
Has anyone tried putting a CAI designed for another Honda/ Acura and “massaging” it in. I’ve been looking and I think there’s room to go down into the wheel well behind the battery if you remove the stock intake. I really don’t want to to buy a “build your own” kit, and it gets too hot here for a short ram.

^the branded air intakes are too small in diameter!!!!
make a custom one that is 4 inch in diameter...
the AEM one is like 2inches to 2.5"
there are many ways to make a custom cai...
you can use PVC piping.
You can use Aluminium piping.
or you can buy a "kit" that you can cut up to custom fit
all of these are better options than using the branded 2 inch intake...and much much cheaper than the $300 brand name costs.

oh and throttle body spacers dont do jack shit...
any air tuning is done in the intake manifold and NOT before it....
theoretically, you can add a spacer to the manifold to create more VOLUME
but adding a spacer to the throttle body wont push in more air...because the throttle body is the restriction....Bore the throttle body.
remember guys, you have the exact same engine as the TL...Follow the TL on how to make power.
