Intro and question

Hey Guys!
My name is Napoleon and I've been a honda fan forever now.
Currently I drive a 2002 Acura RSX, my wife drive a 2002 Honda CR-V and I ride a 2013 Honda Fury :-)

We're looking at replacing the CR-V in the summer and we took a good look at the RDX and loved it.
I want to get the AWD tech package with the V6 in it.
My question is, when I did a quick search, the towing capacity for the RDX is only 1500 pounds...is that correct?...seems light in my opinion...can anyone put in their input?

Thanks!

Napoleon, you only asked one question and basically answered it yourself.

it has a towing capacity of 1500lbs.

That is usually 1500lbs and you have to subtract away from that when you add passengers and gear in the cab. The 07-13 MDX is 5000lbs (just add the hitch/harness), if you need more than 1500lbs and you are on a budget.

The +2014 fwd MDX is 3500lbs and up to 5000lbs for sh-awd +14 MDXs with the larger OEM trans cooler.
