Debadged AWD

Should I also debadge the RDX and make the back totally clean?
I did it to my previous Sante Fe and I loved the clean look.

True.

I just wasn't sure if removing the RDX badge would look too plain.

Did you do all the badges justnspace

^ i have a 2006 TL.
the A badge is pinned...so you will leave two holes in the body if you remove.

I have removed the badges that said "ACURA" and "TL"

as stated, it is a PERSONAL thing and ALL my vehicles are debadged...

Actually the back of the Sante Fe was very busy before the debadging. A few months into ownership, I could tell crap was building up around the badges even with good washing. That is one of the reasons why I debadged it.

^still was a personal decision to remove..

Most of RDX'ers on here arent going to modify their cars.
you'll get a few people who do debadge, but most people leave the badges on.

I guess I fall into the category of "most people"... I like having the badges and was actually rather annoyed when Acura decided NOT put their ACURA badge on the back anymore!? What the hell. It almost looks lopsided now with "RDX" and "AWD" badges on the right rear and nothing on the left. If I can find a matching ACURA badge for the left rear I'd gladly apply it.

On my 2014 TL. I debadged the TL emblem and left the SHawd (Never had the Acura Emblem). I have thought about dedadging my wife's 2016 RDX but I will probably still leave the AWD emblem. It's more of an identity thing for me so it's not confused with the FWD model.

On my 2004 TSX I debadged it then debadged with the gold emblem to be different.

looks clean on a darker vehicle. On my wdp I went a different route.....black emblems really pop out on white. still on the fence on dipping the chrome strip.

Nice and clean Acura604. You should dip the chrome strip and the lower chrome trip pieces. If you don't like it just peel it off anyway...

looks good. I'd like to see how it would look with the chrome bar and chrome pieces at the bottom dipped too. I want to dechrome my whole wdp but also want to black out the beak so I'm stuck between font/back continuity and black/white contrast

I know this is a super late reply, but is that the type-s rear bumper? The cutout at the bottom looks different from my base 2008 bumper.

That looks miles better imo. Good mod. I have a black 2G and am trying to decide if I want to debadge or just like dip black to match the rest of my chrome delete. I've always dug the stealth look and completely debadged all of my cars, except for the brand emblems.
