Front Camera Video

Ok, here's a quick and dirty video showing my stop-gap front camera installation. The quest continues to put the image on the top center stack screen but until then this is easy and quick and cheap..about $30 all in (plus a piece of scrap aluminum to make a bracket....freebie!)
Enjoy:

Good morning/afternoon,

I have a question, after putting the wire through the hole (Passenger) where is it you go / do next? Thanks!

My routing might be a little different from yours since I pulled the glove box out but, essentially, you want to pull your cable toward the center console along any route you can find. End the run near where your module/display will be located.

I extended the red camera power wire over to the left side of the dash (over the steering column) then down to the fuse panel. It might be simpler to use the red wire on the camera end of the cable and run an extension to the under hood fuse box.
Bottom line, everyone is going to do it a little differently but the objective is the same. Get the camera connector to the module in the car and connect switched power for the camera from your choice of sources.

What is your opinion of this idea? I have noticed that there isn't a whole lot of playroom to mount the unit I was thinking to mount it to the air vent (Passenger Side), I was thinking to mount it where the USB/car plug/ aux unit is but my wife uses that compartment a lot. she doesn't mind mounting to the air vent.
