Dash Panel Removal

I would like to mount something using small bolts on the panel to the right of the steering column. This would be just below the start button and this panel actually runs under the steering column to the left side. To do this I would like to remove this panel. I've poked on it a little with a panel removal tool but it's tight and I don't want to break anything. Does anyone know how to remove this panel or how it's mounted? Thanks in advance for any info.

you have to contort your body to where your head is underneath the dash. once underneath, you'll see screws lining the outer edges of the panel. if you pulled on it with the panel removal tool, the tight spots indicate where the screws are.

obviously, un-do all of the screws lining the outer edge of the panel, then you can use the panel removal tool to help pull the panel off of the clips

Thanks for the info. I'm going to see what I can do with it this weekend.
