I think the normal frequency for rear differential fluid change is 30K miles so I would go ahead and do it. I am old school in that I like to use recommended mileage/time intervals rather than waiting for the maintenance minder to tell me to do something.

The MID would set a code for 30k interval items every 4th oil change. It's all based on a 7500 miles oil change interval. The only thing variable
in the maintenance minder is oil life. It uses an algorithm that is real, you can base your maintenance on it. But for the codes to show, you have to wait
until the oil life reaches 15%.

Also, a maintenance reminder is all very nice, but it really does not know anything about the condition of your oil like an oil analysis would do. But with quality oils these days, it isn't a concern.

Stick with Synthetic oil. It is superior to conventional oil. It does not cost much more more than conventional oil and virtually all synthetic oils are good. Amazon is selling their own branded synthetic oil that is made at a highly reputable refinery that has been making oil for 80 years. Projectfarm on YouTube tests all the oils and the Amazon, Costco and Walmart brands of synthetic were just as good as Mobil 1. Go watch his videos.

2001 Odyssey, owned up to 217,000 miles, no oil-related problems.
2003 Accord, owned up to 233,000 miles, no oil-related problems.
2004 Accord, owned up to 201,000 miles, no oil-related problems.
That said, as often as you change the oil, there is no benefit gained by spending more for synthetic.

I will be watching to see if it needs topping off; I just changed the oil last weekend.

Honda engines do not burn oil unless there is something wrong. Like a leak or some hare brained mod they try to meet emissions.
I have had a couple of Honda's way past 200k that did not use oil between changes.
By the way, the specified oil weight, 0-20 only comes in synthetic.
as I have said here and on the Odyclub, if you want to lavish attention on a Honda/Acura, change the transmission fluid every other oil change. That will get you something.
changing the oil early just gets the recycler cleaner oil.
