Probably the most least important "problem" in my life right now, but I can't seem to change my wallpaper. It's more frustrating than it is a problem. I must be doing something wrong.

I think I'm following the instructions. At first, I thought it was the picture I uploaded. It was created as per the specs in the manual and I was able to select it. Looked like it worked. But the next time the NAV started, same old "Acura" wallpaper.

Then I tried the "Galaxy" provided. Same thing - no go.

Is there something other than pressing "enter" I should be doing?

 

Ok, I figured out that what I thought was the "wallpaper" was actually the startup screen. That image doesn't update.

But unless I'm missing something, the ONLY time you'll see the wallpaper is if you don't press the "enter" button and it eventually goes into wallpaper mode.

Does anyone know if there is a way to do that after you've used the nav, essentially putting it to sleep?

I've never owned a car with so many mysteries.

 

I did find a way to get back to the wallpaper through the menus. I forgot the path when I found that I could not get there unless I was stopped. I could not get it to work even with voice commands while moving. Just crazy! I sure would like to speak with the person who made that decision to find out what they were thinking.

 

There is a "show wallpaper" choice under one of the info screens, but I believe that is used simply display the wallpaper in use.
