Speedometer too small
Speedometer too small
After driving my RDX for a few weeks I have been finding it difficult to fine tune my speed, since the speedo is fairly small. It is not a matter of the actual size, but for some reason Acura felt it was important for the speedo to max out at 160 mph. This means the size of each 5mph increment is fairly small. Perhaps they did not want to change speedos for the Canadian market.
If I am really looking to fine tune my speed, I tend to use cruise control. You can bump up the speed incrementally rather easily. I really like the look of the pop out gauges.
I wonder what the actual top speed of the RDX is??

Sounds like the RDX v1 was electronically governed at 130.

I doubt they would substantially change it for the new model. If you want to find out - be my guest!
