Qi wireless charging

I've got a Samsung S6 Edge+ and I've been thinking about putting a Qi wireless charging pad.

I wanted to place it in this tray in the console:

But the Edge+ is too big to fit in that tray. I could always put it in the bottom of the compartment but that's a bit restrictive since I'd like to use the compartment for other things.

Any ideas on how I could get a Qi charging pad installed cleanly (no visible cables) and stealthy (hidden).

You could use the front center console cubby. Not too many options for a stealthy install.

I ordered a pad on cyber monday so i'll see in about 2 weeks if it works. My concern with the front cubby is that the jack sort of overlaps the area where the pad would be. It seems cars these days still aren't ready for large screen phones.

Another thing I have to wonder about is bumps. How to keep the phone for getting out of alignment with the coils?

Another option I'm thinking about is 3D printing a holder to go into the armrest cubby to hold the Qi pad and a larger phone.
