No SiRI navigation from Iphone5

The only way I can get SIRI to tell me navigation leads is if I turn off Bluetooth from my Iphone5. Is there a way that I can have SIRI tell me directions through the RDX 13 (with no Tech pkg) speakers?
And why do I have to turn off Bluetooth in order for SIRI to speak directions?
Thanks!

Apple Maps works for me, even while streaming Pandora. Bluetooth is turned ON and I can see the Bluetooth icon on the RDX screen indicating my iPhone 5 is paired. I have the phone connected to the USB port using the USB-to-Lightning cable provided with my phone. I'm controlling/listening to Pandora in the RDX radio's "USB" mode.

With music streaming, I picked up the iPhone, pressed the home button and swiped to unlock. From the iPhone springboard (Home screen), I opened Apple Maps, searched for a destination and started voice guided navigation. Then I pressed the power button to lock the iPhone. From then on I was able to control/listen to Pandora all while receiving voice guided navigation instructions from Siri. I noticed that the iPhone also continued to display the usual map and directions on-screen (in case I wanted to grab the phone for a quick look).

In another instance also while using Pandora at the same time, I pressed and held the Home button to activate Siri and said "Take me home". Siri proceeded to open Apple Maps and present route choices. I picked one and tapped "Start". It worked great and the sound was very clear.

I finally figured this out on my TL and was searching for own thread to put up a fix.
(I do have the tech package - so hopefully this applies to you still in some different menu)

In system setup (under phone menu after pressing the talk button), there is an auto transfer setting (phone to auto transfer to HFL or "Hands Free Link"). Turn this on. Any BT/Siri prompt from the phone will auto play through the speakers. Hope this helps.

Just double-checked this on the base package. Even when auto transfer is activated, it doesn't allow nav directions through the speakers unless you're listening to your phone already via BT, USB, or aux. The auto transfer works as expected in other ways though. For instance, holding the home button on your phone will bring up Siri through the speakers and phone calls automatically route through the car system. It just doesn't automatically kick over with nav directions even when HFL is selected as the output on the phone during navigation.
A half-workaround is once you put in your destination, you can tap on the BT symbol on the bottom of the screen and have it read from the phone itself instead, but you'll only get directions through the car speakers if you're already streaming something from the phone.

Looking over the new Siri Eyes Free stuff, it looks like Honda deliberately set up the system like this for some reason. From the Eyes Free install/user guide:
"Use Siri as you normally would with your iPhone, for features such as:
• Turn‐by‐turn iPhone directions (when the audio system is set to Bluetooth® Audio or iPod mode)"

Seems a bit ridiculous as my 2008 BMW with no nav system had that capability.
