Hey guys, I picked up a used 2015 RDX a few months ago. I live in Chicago area, so winter is coming quickly and I want to put in a remote start. I'm having a heck of a time finding parts to do it for this model year though!

I'm looking at the T Harness to go on the main harness to wire in the remote start, but I'm seeing a version to fit the 2007-2013 and then a certain that says it fits the 2016-2018.... Is there something off with the 2014 and 2015 years that would make one of these options not work with it?? I'm kind of pulling out my hair trying to find something that will work. Any thoughts?? After you install remote start unit, you need to use Honda HDS to register the remote start module to the Engine ECU. Some Professional scanners maybe able to register the R/C unit to ECU. My scanner didn't complete registration so I had to use my HDS to complete registration.

 

were you doing this yourself or having someone do it for you ?

 

My 2018 RDX Advanced was factory installed. I installed the factory remote start in my 2011 Honda CRV, it is exactly the same type of installation as the RDX
