I searched the owner's manual and this forum but don't see any info on how to erase music from the HDD. Any help will be appreciated.

I gave up looking for a way to only erase the HDD and just did a factory reset of all settings, which erased the HDD.

 

Nice to know that might be the only way to do it....Thnx for sharing that info.

 

saw it on youtube, hold all 3 buttons at the same time, "map guide", "Cancel" and "dest route".
It will take you to "select diagnosis items", then rotate the knob to "detail information and setting", then "functional setup" the "all clear".
It will take about 2 mins to clear, do not shut off the car during this process.

make sure you have the radio code before doing this.
