I have a 2017 RDX. I recently purchased a Apple Watch. When I tried to connect the watch to the vehicles Blue Tooth, it failed. Has anyone had any success?

 

what purpose does pairing an apple watch with the RDX serve?

 

My Apple Watch is the GPS/Celluar model. This means it works like a phone even if my phone isn't with me. I can play music, place phone calls. With my iPhone I can receive phone calls via the cars bluetooth, I can also play music through the same bluetooth connection. I was hoping to pair the watch so that I won't have to carry my phone all the time.
