6 ohm tweeters in front door - 2016 RDX Tech

I took the little panel that housed the tweeter off and the back of the tweeter says it’s 6 ohms. Has anyone else seen this? How do you replace the tweeter properly? Is there a 6 ohm replacement?

4 ohm tweeters will draw more power from the amp, but as long as you're not blasting your music at full volume, they will work just fine and not damage the amp.

Metal dome tweeters run around this range so they don't overpower the rest of your speakers due to their "bright" characteristics. A 4-ohm silk/textile tweeter should work fine and not be so overwhelming.

Good to know - thank you! I have some really nice 4-ohm silk dome tweeters I’ll try out then.
