Our 2017 RDX had lightning hit a tree 20 feet from the car today, and now all the electronic warnings are engaged, power steering doesn't work, nor air conditioning. Thankfully the radio does. Any insights on restoring electronics functions?

 

Best case scenario is blown fuses. Worst case is melted wiring.

Probably the electromagnetic pulse took out several ICs. File an insurance claim and have a dealer look at it.

 

Could be so many things from the MICU, the ECU, the battery to the alternator Take it to the dealer

 

Agree with thoiboi. I would get it to the dealer to have them diagnose it and potentially notify your insurance company. Is the RDX driveable? You could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, reconnect and see if any of the electronics reset, but if it were me, I would get it to a dealer.
