I am trying to help my friend pair her iPhone 6S to her 2017 RDX Advance so she can receive and send (automated) text messages. No issues with phone part, but she was only able to receive text, but not send. She updated phone to 10.2 software. We deleted the phone then paired it again to the RDX. Now she cannot even send a text.

The "Allow Notifications" are turned ON.

Has anyone been able to successfully send And receive texts with a 2017 RDX and iPhone 6S?

(I own a 2012 RL with iPhone 7, no issues, but the RL is pre text enabled)

 

I have a 2013 RDX with Technology package. When I had my Samsung Galaxy III, I received texts and was able to respond with the preset Acura text responses. I think there were 5 or 6 preprogrammed choices.

When I upgraded to an i-Phone 6S, I was only able to receive texts (on screen if stopped, voice when moving). There was no screen available to send the Acura preset text responses. I think this is an Apple issue.
