Windows rolling down

So, I’ve been searching for a while, but can’t seem to find a definitive answer. My fiancés RDX, her windows keep rolling down on their own, I’m guessing she’s somehow holding the button on the fob. Is there really no way to disable this? I’ve always owned/driven VW/Audi cars, and that feature is easily disabled. This is getting frustrating, as the car was filled with snow this morning.

My guess is she carries the keys in her purse and something in there like the kitchen sink presses against the fob unlock button for a few seconds.

The first step in this diagnosis is to make sure it isn't happening because the unlock button on the fob is being pressed and held (which will roll down all the windows and open the sunroof). If that eliminates the problem, then there are simple solutions; some folks use a carabiner to hang the keys inside their purse, for example. If you use the lock button on the inside door to lock the doors when you exit the vehicle, you never need to take the key out or physically handle it.

I’m positive it’s because she has the fob in her bag, which is also filled with anything and everything. So the button is inadvertently pressed. I just can’t fathom that the feature can’t be disabled.
