Unkown chirp

Okay I must admit I cannot find the purpose of the Chirp that I get after driving a few hundred feet forward. I thought it might be a signal that all the doors were locked but that does not seem to be the case.

Anybody................?

From the timing of it, it sounds like the anti-lock brake self-test which is normal when the car reaches 5 to 10 mph in forward speed after engine start. Not sure I would describe it as a chirp though, more like a subtle thunk. Some people describe it as a buzz.

No this is a chirp just like when you lock your doors with the fob.

You drive maybe 20 to 300 feet and you get the chirp. Everything seems to be normal otherwise?

If you don't accept the nav disclaimer screen, it will turn itself off with the sound you describe. Is that maybe it?

Yep, that's what it was. Must be getting old as I didn't put the two together.

Thanks
