Any idea how many days does it take for the title to come? Also, would I get it in my mail or it would be dealer?

 

It all depends.

 

In Virginia, it takes 30-45 days after the car is paid off before DMV sends it out. Title usually comes from the DMV. The dealer just sells you the car. Title and registration is all handled by the DMV.

 

Florida is a title hold state. If you finance the car you get the title when the loan is paid (and the lien removed). In addition, they don't issue paper titles anymore in Florida (unless you pay extra). They are all electronic.

 

It took about two weeks to get the title in Kentucky. It came
from the state and not the dealer.
