Sun Visor issue

Great!, in less than 2 weeks I got my first issue with RDX.
This morning when I was driving to work, I moved the visor toward the window to block the sun and it dropped right down.

Pull over and cannot put it back in. I cannot drive with it hanging in front of me so I drove to dealership and they disconnect it for now while we wait for the part. I am not happy with this at all.

By the way, the dealership did try to put it back in, but if you move it to the left (toward the window), it drops right down.

Anybody experienced this?

Same issue with the 07-12 RDX. I just replaced my driver's side sun visor that did the same thing; but, my visor lasted +7 yrs without breaking. I think it was caused by the heat causing the plastic to become brittle. It can get +130 degree inside the RDX when parked outside for 8 hours in the direct southwest sun. I always keep leatherman multi-tool in the glove box for such occasions.

I got it fixed today and also called Acura Client Relation. Seem there are a few people experienced this during these hot days. They said it will be fixed in the next refresh or generation (using the screw-in method instead of snap in method). So be careful, don't pull it to the side (toward the windows). It won't break right away, need a few times. But then why buy a car and cannot use its feature.
