A silly question but

When the adaptive cruise slows down every time,do the brake lights go on?
I'm thinking yes but want to know for sure.

Brake light come on only when the brakes are applies with the ACC/CMBS. No brake lights if the ACC disengages without braking (just like taking your foot off the gas).

Yes, the brakes are applied to slow the vehicle with ACC dependent on distance and speed.
