Seat warmer

I keep hitting the seat warmer button by accident when getting out or opening/ closing center console etc.

Are you guys doing that too? Or am I the only clumsy one?

The location of these buttons can be improved for sure!

I thought it was just me too! I have turned my seat heater switch on inadvertently while shifting between forward and reverse at least half a dozen times. I tend to rest my arm next to my body instead of on the armrest so my wrist is over the switch as I grab the shifter around the back and right side.

This was a problem with My '97 Pontiac GTP, too. Literally a pain-in-the-...

Thanks all,

Good to hear that I am not the only one. Hope someone from Acura reads this (design flaw, i would say) and relocate those damn switches.

The seat heater switch placement stood out from the first test drive. Very silly place for them.

I say switch it to voice command - 'hot pants' anyone? and of course 'pants off' to turn it off.. another peeve is how I scrape my knuckles on the front when putting vehicle in park. Wonder what all the Google self driving car will do?

This might be beneficial if you're dating a gullable person an use the voice command to turn the passenger warmer off. "passenger pants off" may actually lead to it in a literal sense.
