Seat Memory loses its settings

On my 2013 RDX (Tech) I use Driver 1 key fob (Driver 2 is never used), adjust my driving seat and mirror positions and Press Button 1 to save the settings. The button light illuminates and the next time I come back to my car if the seat or mirror positions have changed they re-adjust when the door is opened. This works for while but then one day it no longer does and manually pressing the button doesn't do anything either. So I have to redo and save the adjustments again. Any idea why my settings are randomly "forgotten" like this. I've been having this problem as far back as I remember.

I had a 11 MDX and noticed I would have a similar issue and lose my memory seat positions if my battery voltage % was low (under 40%). No other problems with the MDX and it would start just fine with low-ish voltage %. The low voltage % was from either from a +5 year old battery, power drain (had a dashcam), sitting for extended periods, or I was taking a lot short trips with multiple stops and the MDX didn't have time to charge the 12v. I would connect a battery charger to get the voltage % above 80% and be good for awhile. It doesn't sound like a door harness issues if everything else connected to the driver's door works (hatch, gas door, windows, door locks). I would be curious about the battery % when the memory seat lights up and when it is off?

Hmm, that might be my issue because I know sometimes the battery gets weak as I don't drive my RDX everyday, I also know that there is always a parasitic current draw when the car is just sitting there, and I also usually drive short distances. I sometimes have to top-up the battery. I'll keep an eye on this to see if its the problem.

It wouldn't hurt to get your battery tested if it's older.
