$695 for a roof rack.. no dealers have cars with this yet, but I need one. How easy is it to add it later? You know on some cars you have to drill the roof and such. If not I'll just have to order one with it?

 

RDXAWD....You cannot order an RDX with the roof rack on it. IT will have to be installed as an accessory when your RDX is purchased. At that time, the cost of the roof rail will (in Canada anyway) cover the install cost...

 

Just saw this.. $160 labor is not bad though. I just have to twist their arm and give me discount. $650 before cross bar is way too much, almost a deal breaker.

 

In Canada, the cost of the accessories includes installation. I gues sits different in the States but I would not venture and try to do the install on your own....160$ when you buy a 40K vehicle is a joke really

 

You can get the install instructions from the Acura website if you want to see what it involves. Go to accessories and then the e-store and you will see the link on the right. The extra $$ built into the price in Canada for the install is money well spent.
