Reverse Lights

Is it just me or do the reverse lights aim too high? It's pretty hard to see at night when I am backing up because the lights are shining pretty much straight back and not angled down.

I don't want to speculate BUT i'd assume high would equate to far since you have a backup camera and it has to cover a broader spectrum, like if its night and you select WIDE camera lighting the ground would be a waste.

Thats just my guess.

Correct, high = far. The problem is, I can't see anything on the ground until my license plate lights shine down on the area. By the time, I'd be right on top of whatever is in the way.
