Replacing front struts and brakes - what else to do while it's disassembled

As the title says - I'm doing front struts and brakes (pads+rotors) and I want to do some other maintenance while it's all pulled a part.
Deets:
  • 2013 Technology
  • 140,xxx miles
  • Lives in Arizona
  • Goes off-road/dirt road regularly
  • Yokohama A/T tires
  • Often Aggressive/spirited driving
For the parts:
  • Using the parts list from this post for the struts: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rdx-.../#post16807492
  • Is there a consensus for brake upgrades - I looked around but was unable to determine
  • Whatever parts are needed for further replacement, is it best to stick with OEM stuff?
  • Is there a trusted aftermarket brand for parts?
Seriously appreciate the help!

Rockauto has great prices with good quality parts usually. As far as brakes I tend to see a lot of good feedback with Akebono's brake pads.

I ordered the PowerStop kit from Amazon. Those are some high quality parts that are packaged and shipped really well.
