Regular low beam bulb

What's the brand of OEM h11 low beam bulb? I am trying to check if I can find a better white bulb for it instead of change to HID.

Looked at this, looks like it's white and bright. May not have any improvement if I change to another one.

Just go with H11 to H9 bulb conversion.
Regular H9 bulbs cost less than $20 a pair which is at most 1/2 the cost of any high performing H11 bulb for the same light performance.

Either bulb burns out in 1-2 years so the cost difference adds up over time.

Or do what I did and do a HID conversion, $125 and you're done ... HID bulbs go out in 5-6 years.

Yep, it's hard to get significantly 'better' without sacrificing lamp life. I replaced the OEM lamps in our XC60 with the whitest and brightest without getting something that would fail in a matter of months. The light looked 'clean' and 'fresh'; but hardly a significant difference.

I replaced my other car with philips bulb, they are very good and long lasting. But I don't think this rdx needs replacement, it's already white and bright. The quality of SYLVANIA is very bad.

Depends on how neat you want things done.
Should take about 2 hours.
The DIY section has a couple threads on this.

The only vehicle I've had with HIDs before the RDX was a 2002 Infinti QX4. I bought it new and traded it in on the RDX 10 years later. Never replaced a headlight or any other light bulb on the vehicle for that matter. Can't ever remember having a vehicle that long without replacing a few bulbs. Lucky I guess.
