Change my 1st rear differential fluid at 19,256 miles

my car is now over 52,000 miles, I don’t remember if I ever did my 2nd rear differential fluid change...

should I change it anyways ???

how often do you have to change it?

how many miles when you guys changed it on your rdx.. thank a lot

 

I have not changed it on my 2017 yet. it is only 15k miles now. I usually change it at 30k for the first, then once every 50k. Nowadays, the differential fluid is synthetic, and I don't think you really need change it two often. Changing the transmission fluid is more important at every 50k miles.

 

Who has done their 2nd rear differential fluid change? What was your mileage when you change the fluid .. thanks

 

From my notes, I did mine around 30,000 then around 60,000.

 

Every 30k for both differentials is my recommendation from daily experience of changing them at various mileages. Every 45k for ATF.
