I have a rdx with this displaying at 14500 miles and 13 month after last oil change. Is the diff fluid change a bit early?

Thanks, Bill

I changed my rear diff fluid in my MDX in Feb/15, 15,000 miles ago and it is due again. I did the rear diff change in my RDX +25,000 miles ago (20 months ago) and the service hasn't popped up yet. I think the M.I.D. is figuring out the maint schedule based on your driving habits. I figure a rear diff change between 15,000-30,000 miles is within the normal use range for change.

Remember, the MID takes in account for start ups, revolutions per minute, and other factors.

based on the algorithm, it senses that you're due for a diff. change.

Wow you have a 1st gen RDX with only 14500 miles?

My wife's 2010 Honda Element only has 13k miles = 3 trips to Whole Foods per week x 4 years + 1 trip per month to Macy's. sigh.....
