Little off topic about the suspension rattle but I used to have it on some aftermarket coilovers I had for my S4. The company I bought them from were great and sent me a replacement one only to have it thunk again. It felt like the strut was loose but it really wasn't. Isolated the spring and all and that wasn't it.

Finally it was sent back to to Germany where they were made and from what I understood the inner tube on fast, short compression was hitting the outer tube! They made a change to their line by wrapping the inner tube with something (I think it was a kevlar fiber wrap or maybe fiberglass) and released it as a Version 2 and it's fine now. 40k miles on them and all is quiet still.

But so far I put in my first full tank of gas on my RDX! 24.1mpg!
