Purchase 2015 RDX or wait for 2016 RDX?
I am in the market for a new RDX and I checked out the 2015 RDX yesterday at my local dealer. I am debating if I should wait until the 2016 comes out in April or buy the 2015 now. The dealer said the manf. incentive is $750 for the 2015 and he quoted $33.5 plus TTL for the non-tech FWD model. Another option is to wait close to the 2016 release date to see if the manf. incentive goes up on 2015 and the dealer will likely discount further if he has a big inventory.
Some of the new features that I like in the new 2016 are Lane Assist warning when you change lanes, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Rear Cross Traffic Monitor. Perhaps the MRP may be higher than 2015.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

^^ Wait for the 2016! The passenger height adjuster in itself will be worth it, as with the ventilated seats.

I can't imagine why any would buy the 2015 over the 2016 considering the features difference unless just to save money. Still you'd be better off waiting till the 2016's start hitting the lot so you could compare the two side by side and undoubtedly get a better deal on the 2015 if that's what you choose.

if any of the new features matter then wait. If you are not looking for the Advanced trim and don't care about LED headlights then get the current model.
if leasing then get the current vehicle now so in 3 years you can get the 2019 model that will be a redesign.

Well if your looking at a Base model I'd wait for the 2016.
The 2016 RDX Base now comes standard with heated seats, power tailgate, and LED Headlights and Taillights... the Base 2015 RDX has halogen headlights.

Summer is Coming
Wait. They have not announced pricing for the 2016's yet. There will be more trim levels offered so the pricing will not be totally apples to apples. But the updates are very likely to be worth the extra you might pay. And the 16's will be at a discount soon enough. The market will only bear a certain price no matter what they add. There will be more competition from the NX, MKC, and new Ford Flex to name a few. Acura will have to compete.
