OEM fog lights on 2013 base...

I'm wondering if any of you have priced fog light installation on your base model? Dealer quoted me $579.00 (plus tax) today. Seems high, but wanted to gather some thoughts before making a decision. I would do it myself but am not comfortable taking the bumper off, taking apart the steering column, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to add fog lights, too, but my dealer quoted a similar price. Interested to see if members went another route for the cheap.

I wouldn't spend that much for them. IMO, they're more for looks than function. As always, YMMV.

If you look in the DIY/FAQ section, there is an entire thread on this. I was curious too. I saw a few people that got a $400 - $450 quote form the dealer installed for this.

I'm mostly interested in the fog lights for appearance. The plastic inserts cheapen the look of the car, IMO.

Found the kit for $250. I'm waiting to hear back from the dealer about matching the price.

I believe I paid more but don't have the paperwork sitting near me to check. Glad I got it done. They not only cover that dark spot in the front but spread nice light out to the sides much like HIDs. They really help in my very dimly light neighborhood.

fast_easy_acura_parts has it for $250 shipped on eBay. But then its the installation that you have to deal with which seems like its very involved (including taking the bumper off)

I talked to the dealer. They said I can bring them the kit and they will install for $168. That will put me at $418 installed. Much better than $579+
