New summer rim help?!

hi everyone, i'm excited to be a new RDX owner and join the crew here.

i'm planning to use the stock rim for winter, and get a new set of summer rim.

i have to keep the 18" size cuz i want to use the stock tire. anyone have any suggestions? i'm new to the SUV wheels, so i'm not sure where most ppl go to shop for SUV wheels.

i have a black RDX, and i'm looking for budget wheels (so no HRE or VOLKS, hehe)

ur wheel suggestions will be welcomed! thx!!!!!!!

Either the Discount Tire or the Tire Rack websites (or both) have configurators that let you see different wheels they sell on your model/color of car. Not sure if they have the 2013 RDX but the Gen1 RDX or current MDX would be a good approximation. Price and selection are generally good at both places.

Been a couple weeks, but Tire Rack had a wheel sale and offered a ton of wheels that would fit the RDX. If memory serves, they are in the 175 - 500+ per rim price range, so not sure that qualifies as budget. Hard to get too low on price for alloys these days. The diamond cut accessory wheels from Acura are at the upper end of that price scale, but look really nice -- love mine!

Tire Rack is a great organization. I've purchased many sets of tires from them and wheels. Their customer service and knowledge is about as good as it gets. You can call them...talk to a tech that really knows what's going on....either personally or that and the results of all their testing that they do. They don't have a "dog in the hunt" so they will tell you the truth about certain tires and wheels. They have their own test track for tires in South Bend, IN...their home. They also do testing on wheels inside their facility. You can read all about them on their web site. They also have tutorials on wheels, construction, etc....and on tires. Lot's of "stuff" on their site.

^^^ I agree with you 150%! If I didn't trade my vehicles so often, I'd likely get a set myself but as much as I love my RDX, I am sure that within 1 year or two, the itch to get something new will surface once again.... Damn addiction! *lol*

For picking out the wheels I use "https://www.carid.com" which has varieties of wheels/tires that you are looking for.
