Never see a '16

I have taken a couple of road trips since getting the '16 Advanced. I have yet to see another on the road. I really want to see what the LEDs look like coming and going, but haven't seen another one on the road.

Given that these things are kind of hard to get, you'd infer that they are selling well. Therefore, there ought to be some on the road. But, not a one.

I'm getting lonely out there.

Quite a few 2016s around here in Marin Co. Again as the other member said, outnumbered about 100:1 by the MDXs, and the Lexus RXs. Even see more Range Rovers and Porsche Cayennes. RDX is low on the totem pole here in terms of luxury vehicles (lol), except for a poor university prof like me.

I see more TLXs and MDXs, not too many RDXs or ILXs in NM. I've only seen a RLX on the show room floor, never in the wild. I still see 5X-10X more previous gen TLs, MDX, and TSX compared to current gen. Spending +$50,000 can get you a pretty nice GMC Denali or Ford King Ranch to pull you single jet ski to the lake. At $2.25 a gallon for diesel, most kids around here opt for raised up diesel truck with huge tires and smoke stack exhaust coming out the bed that sound like a freight train.

Kinda crap I have to deal with:

I've seen 5 other 2016 RDX near my area. Two white (one tech, one elite), two black tech, one silver elite.

The headlights are absolutely gorgeous going towards you. It is definitely a powerful and distinctive road presence. It looks better than the Lexus or MDX even. It has the Jewel Eyes with the cool daytime running lights. The MDX just has Jewel Eyes (no LED line) and the RDX grill looks more sporty and 3D.

The good thing (or bad thing) about the +16 RDX is it will mostly likely will remain 99% unchanged until the all new RDX hits the road around 2019-2020. We might see similar updates with the +17 MDX next year (LED DLR strip more sporty look also).

LOL. As much as I'd like to see one on the road, I'm not driving to Omaha for the pleasure. LOL

Looks like Acura stopped doing minor incremental updates to the RDX with the introduction of the 2nd Gen models.

See them all the time in the Philadelphia and suburbs area, in various degrees of filth, that have been out for a while. The lighting and new chrome details make them stand out nicely.

Go to rockyboy's house. He has his model in his bedroom. Probably has no working headlights though.

Just to put this in perspective:

For September 2015 the RDX sold the 5th most SUV's from the Luxury Brands in the US. The top 10:

1. Lexus RX(7759), 2. Cadillac SRX(6849), 3. Audi Q5(5149), 4. Acura MDX(4313), 5. Acura RDX(3848), 6. Infiniti QX60(3848), 7. MB GLE class(3492), 8. Lexus NX(3113), 9. BMW X3(3033), 10. Cadillac Escalade(2809).

I'm curious to see how the all new designed RX will do? Size of the RDX, weight and price of the the MDX, and styling of a concept vehicle (I can't get past the new Vag grill design).

not sure if you noticed, the RDX headlight looks less jewel-eyed than the MDX and TLX.

Only one other '16 I've seen at the base with ~27k personnel I work at. Black, non-Advance.

Yup. I always pull up behind late model pick-up trucks with new paint so I can see my headlights in their "mirror".

The RDX running lights make the MDX "jewel eyes" look dated, IMHO.

Just wish I'd see a few RDXs going the other way when I'm up, on the Big Road.

I have seen a few, and we just picked up the gf's 16 RDX AWD Advance. Sweet ride. I really like the front/rear fascia updates. I love the DRL and Audi/like turn signal in the DRL. Very much a nice evolutionary step for the RDX. Only misses are lack of all around cameras, LED rear turn signals and fog lights and maybe a heated steering wheel.

Congrats! The turn signals are one of my favorites, too.

Agreed, especially coming from our 2012 RDX.

I also wished they would have done the interior lights with LEDs (instead of just the front map lights).
