Nav Screen

All of a sudden interstates show on my nav screen as red with white dots instead of solid red. What's up?

I know that, if the road wasn't there when software was made, You will get dashed lines as You drive it .Is Your interstate new or recently changed?

I think that those are "white tracking dots". That setting can be turned off or on in the navigation settings. Here's the path to the setting: "SETTINGS button > Navi Settings > Map > Display Tracking". In my navigation manual it's explained on pages 84 and 148, if you have a 2016 model manual that will explain it.

My cheapness bit me the other day. I have never updated the Acura nav. The other day, nav said to take the third exit off a rotary. You guessed it. The rotary was gone. I had to get out Waze to figure out what to do next.
