Light in Glove Box
#2
My '18 Advance with a $43K list and no glove compartment lighting.
Go figure.
I don't have many complaints at all about my RDX. I love it but no glove compartment lighting is a ridiculous cost saving in a premium vehicle.

I just looked to make sure and no light. There is a round plastic plug that may be where the bulb area should be.
I ordered these to try for the glove box and console box.

Not an issue for me as I think I've only opened the glovebox a couple times since buying the vehicle. To me, it's just another example of acura not being a premium car as one might thing. Honda may call it premium, but even in 2016 honda offered stuff on the accord and civic (standard as well as options) that wasn't even available on the top of the line RDX.
Either your dealer didn't install the light, or you have another issue.

Odd, that you don't have one.
Check page 432 of the manual. You will see it is 1.4W and standard on all 2016+ models.
You may need to take yours to the dealer to get fixed.

I've seen the light
2017 Advance. Turned on headlights, opened glove box door and, yep, there's a light in there, left side where others have seen it. It's pretty odd an '18 wouldn't have one.
Cheers!

Great! Glad to find out nothing was broken.
It took some getting used to RE: lights being on, as I came from a BMW where the glove box light was continuously illuminated. From what I understand, this 'lights on' detail is standard on all Acuras, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!
