Instrument Panel Garnish Repair

I couldn't figure out the name of the part so I pulled it from Bernardi (http://acura.bernardiparts.com/produ...TX4-A01ZA.aspx) - it's the grey plastic trim above the grove box. I've scratched it a few times now and it's starting to look beat up. Would it be possible to touch up paint it or should I just spend the $15 for the plastic piece and the clips?

Just buy the replacement part. You should be able to remove it if you drop the glove box.
Just watch for wiring in that area

that thing just pops out, only held in by clips. Open glove box and pull the right side first and work your way to the left

Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably try to get the parts from my dealer and snap it in this weekend.
