Sorry about posting in the wrong forum.
My 2021 is nice vehicle but, I miss the acceleration and driving dynamics of the X3 M40i I sold. Going from 0-60 in 4.2 to 0-60 in 6.4 is a big let down. I thought I'd get used to it. But........not

Bought my 2015 AWD/Tech used in September 2018 with 39K, now just over 94K. Had a big moment of sticker shock when I logged in to schedule the timing belt service, based on age... they're attaching spark plugs to it but that can wait til next time... $2250? WTF?! Most other things have actually been reasonable at my Acura dealer, even if this car is a fluid diva.

If you haven't already had the service done, you should try a local Honda dealer as their labor rates are typically less than Acura. You can go one step further and see if you can find an independent shop that perhaps specializes in Japanese vehicles. The 3.5L in your RDX is ubiquitous across the Honda/Acura line. There was a Honda dealer in NJ (Hamilton Honda??) that was running a special a number of years back doing the timing belt for something like $600 IIRC. When you do get the timing belt service done, you should ask or make sure they are doing the water pump and tensioner pulleys as well. You are already paying the labor to disassemble these parts to get to the timing belt so it is very common to do all at once. My $0.02

Down about a .5 mpg since new. Have maintained car by Acura guidelines. Batteries last about 3 yrs here in FL.

2nd timing belt change coming up. Will be installing new struts & shocks, spark plugs & ignition coils.

PS this is my 5th Acura (longest time 1997 2.2 CL 233,000 mi & 17 yrs)
I had the timimg belt service (inc water pump) performed by Bozak Honda in Michigan City, IN for $1150
While I was up in Indiana. Changed the front sway bar links to Moog K750666 & K750667, purchased thoough Rockauto
did the work myself. Stopped the chunking sound from up front.
Current mileage is 200,000 mpg stayed about the same.

Just passed 103,000 on my 2018. Will do the timing belt maintenance in about a month.
Been driving Acuras since 1988.
This was my first SUV.
It's nice but personally I like the sedans better.

I went from a regular cab pickup, to a sedan, to the RDX, and now the Mazda CX-5. I can't wait to get back to a pickup truck in the future myself.
