Heated seats memory

The cold weather is setting in and I want to start making use of the remote engine start on my Advanced RDX.
I noticed that I can leave the HVAC system will start with the engine at the last temperature I left it, however the front heated seats don't.
Is there a way to make the seats also start with the previous settings and turn on when using the remote engine start?
TIA

No, the seat heaters will not come on when using the remote start.

I also don't believe that the HVAC system will heat the car to the temperature you left it at. The owners manual says..........

While the engine is running, the vehicle will automatically precondition inside the vehicle.
When it is warm outside:
• The air conditioning is activated in recirculation mode.
When it is cold outside:
• The defroster is activated at a moderately warm temperature.
• The rear defogger and door mirror heaters are activated.

Just switch the heated seat on when You shut the car off at night.

I have tried that and it doesn't work. The seat heaters and blowers (if equipped) default to off when starting the engine. They are electronic switches that send a pulse each time they are pushed. They do not have four unique settings for High,Medium, Low, and Off, and therefore cannot be left in any particular setting.

Won't work.

The answer to the original question is "no" --- as I said.

Our new Honda RL has a system where the heated seats and heated steering wheel are activated with the remote start, when it is cold outside. It is a nice feature that I just used on a snowy day when leaving the office. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like our RDX's do the same thing (not that we have the heated steering wheel here in the US, anyway...): just defroster, rear defogger, and door mirror heaters...no seat...

But I must say, the RDX remote start has a much longer range....

It is really mind blowing how Acura drops the ball with details like this.
The almost exclusive reasons to have a remote starter is to heat, cool, defrost, etc the car before you get there.
It could be something as simple as better software or mechanical switches.
In my 2013 MDX if you leave them on when you turn off the engine, they will be on when you start the car the next time. It's a no brainer!

Yours are the 3 setting button controls correct? Mine is a 2G MDX as well but 2007 so I have the simple Hi, Lo, Off toggle switch. So good on Acura for maintaining it as on when turning it off with an electronic switch like that.

So do the elite models only have the buttons? they have the ventilated seats button on the same switch as the heated ones right.

My MDX is a Tech without ventilated seats.
My wife's RDX is Advanced and it has 3 level heating and 3 level venting buttons. The level adjustments are electronic by pressing the buttons, not mechanical positions like on my MDX.

True dat! Amazes me how the lower end Honda line has more tech than the Acura versions....
