Headrest position too far forward

I've had a 2014 RDX for about a week and can not find a comfortable seat adjustment. The head rest pushes my neck and head forward. If I recline the seat back a little, the headrest is not a problem, but I end up with low back pain. Anyone else have the same experience? Any suggestions to solve the problem?

Have you tried inflating the lumbar support "bladder" to push you forward?

I have tried that. At the moment I have a small rolled up blanket behind me about waist high, to get me a little forward. It feels a little better than the lumbar support, but not a good permanent solution!

Interesting...the head restraint has never been a factor in my finding a comfortable seat position.

Can you lift the rear of the seat cushion some more?...making it more level...

Have you tried adjusting the headrest up or down till it hits the back of your head more comfortably?

today I tried reversing the headrest and I feel SO much more comfortable. But it's not a safe way to drive. very little whiplash protection. Need to do some more experimenting.

Well, as a last resort, bring the headrest to an upholstery shop to have some foam removed.

The back seat seems a whole lot better and that may be where I'll end up on a long trip. I raised the driver's headrest to it's highest position as the angle is less severe on the lower part of the headrest. I'll try driving around like that for a while. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Eventually I'll find the answer. Just hoping to find someone who had the same issue.
